i hate ai

hi, i finally made a new post!!

so.. yes, i hate ai. not every use of it though. i only like using it when i'm trying to make it say funny stuff or when i have it explain something to me.

let's look at the bad (in my opinion) uses of ai.

ai art & music

this is probably the worst thing ai can be used for. it's stripping away all of the creativity and honestly it makes everything boring. i don't get why people use it so much, but they do. there are people who use ai-generated art on their profile pictures, even though almost all of them look the same.

ai videos

woah woah woah.. google recently launched veo 3 and i'm really scared for what it can become. it's really hard to control what the ai makes, so there's already been a lot of different fake videos generated and posted to social media. most of them are satire, but they almost look and sound real. it's crazy to think that we live in a world where anyone can just type in a prompt to get a news reporter reporting on something (and even standing at the scene too!), that didn't even happen. omg, i can't imagine all of the misinformation that's gonna come out of this..

ai blog posts

yeah.. ai blog posts.. companies make long blog posts with a bunch of random keywords or top 5 lists, where they put themselves to the number one spot. all of that just to move a bit up in search engines like google. oh, and this isn't anything new btw.. this has been going on for at least a few years, but now it's significantly easier to do, because they can have ai do it. and that also means it can be done faster, so they can push a lot more posts. it's really sad that most people think that blogs are just this.
